David Hoang, Patent Agent
Mr. Hoang has been a Patent Agent with Keating & Bennett, LLP since 2015. Mr. Hoang assists in patent prosecution, invalidity opinions, and litigation matters. Mr. Hoang earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan—Ann Arbor. Mr. Hoang lived and worked in Japan as a Technology Specialist at a well-known Japanese patent firm located in Osaka. During his time in Japan, Mr. Hoang assisted in the prosecution of patent applications related to various computer/electrical engineering technologies and filed in several jurisdictions worldwide including US, EP, JP, KR, CN, and TW.
Mr. Hoang was also a Patent Examiner at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). Mr. Hoang has experience in examining patent applications related to solid-state semiconductor devices, MEMS, LEDs, memories, transistors, electronic circuit packaging, and electric motors and generators.
